The beaches of Maryland & Delaware are usually blessed with abundant sunshine during the wedding season. We will do our best to work with you and the weather. Most summer showers are very brief and clear up quickly. We can change the time, date or location of your ceremony if possible. We’ve had ceremonies in condos, beach houses & hotels. Rain or shine, you won’t leave the beach without a ring on your finger.
As near to where you are staying as possible. This will give you access to a mirror bathroom & air condition up until the last possible moment. The beaches up and down the coast may vary slightly, but they all offer spectacular photo possibilities with the right equipment & expertise. The time of your wedding is actually more important than the beach you select.
When the lifeguards are off duty. Summer weddings should be before 9 AM or after 5 PM for optimal lighting, cooler temperatures and an intimate setting. Sunrise and sunset are the most popular times. Offseason weddings (November – March) are best in the afternoon.
